If your idea of relaxing is sitting in a boat on a calm lake, then you'll enjoy boating on the waters in the San Bernardino area. San Bernardino is surrounded by lakes were you can ski, fish and yes, relax. Here's a look at waterways for maritime adventures.

Fishing at a Lake

If you like fishing, then you will be hooked on the beautiful lakes in the San Bernardino area. Some lakes require a State fishing license that can be obtained at Sporting Goods stores and Department Stores such as Wal-Mart, Target and K-Mart.

Private Fishing Ponds

  • Hesperia Lake
    Featuring one lake stocked with trout, catfish, bass, bluegill, and crappie. This is a pay-to-fish lake, with a limit of 5 fish/day. Adults pay $7.00/day and Seniors can fish Mon & Tue, excluding holidays, for only $6/day.
    Children 10 and under pay $3.50 and have a limit of 2 fish/day.
    Open Sun-Wed 6 a.m. to 7 p.m. and night fishing through Sept. 24
