Train

San Bernardino is known as the crown jewel of the Inland Empire. But there's more… Whether you're attending a conference, a meeting or just visiting, check out San Bernardino's commuter train. Metrolink trains will get you to Orange County, downtown Los Angeles, or the beach (on summer weekends) in just over an hour without the hustle and bustle of the freeways.

Easily accessible from San Bernardino's Metrolink station at 1204 W. 3rd Street, take your pick of daily trains on the 56-mile San Bernardino line that will whisk you to and from Los Angeles. At the station, hop aboard a double-decker periwinkle blue and white train. Inside, temperature-controlled cars feature clean, carpeted seating areas, drinking fountains, special wheelchair seating areas, and even space for a bicycle.

You can purchase tickets at the station, before you board, from easy-to-use ticket vending machines that accept cash, ATM cards and credit cards. Once at your destination, the cost of your ticket provides for free transfer to most connecting services, such as the subway in downtown Los Angeles.
